2. Data processed and purposes
The owner processes the data provided through the contact form and the enabled communication channels in order to handle information requests, manage the pre-contractual and contractual commercial relationship, and respond to queries raised by users, mostly professionals in the hospitality and food distribution sector.
Likewise, and subject to the user's express consent, the data may be processed for sending commercial communications related to the seafood sector.
3. Lawfulness
The legal basis for processing the data is the user's consent when checking the box accepting the privacy policy, as well as the execution of pre-contractual or contractual measures at the interested party's request.
4. Data retention
The data will be kept for the time necessary to handle the request and, where appropriate, for the applicable legal periods; afterwards they will be kept blocked for the limitation period of possible liabilities.
Contact details submitted through the form are kept for 2 years from the last contact if no commercial relationship is reached. If the contact becomes a customer, they are kept during the commercial relationship and, afterwards, for the applicable legal periods.
5. Recipients
Data will not be transferred to third parties, except by legal obligation. The processors necessary for the provision of the service (hosting and communications providers) may access the data under the corresponding data processing agreement.
Specifically, the data provided in the contact form is stored in the application's database, hosted on the Base44 platform, and sent by email to the company's internal address for commercial follow-up. Access to that database is restricted to the controller's authorised staff.
The Base44 platform belongs to Base44, Inc. (United States) and acts as a processor under its data processing agreement.
6. International transfers
Data is stored on servers located in the United States. The transfer is covered by the guarantees set out in the provider's data processing agreement: European Commission standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
7. Data subject rights
The user may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability by contacting the owner through the privacy email indicated. They may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
8. Updates
The owner reserves the right to modify this policy to adapt it to legislative or jurisprudential developments.
